By accessing or using PaperBanana (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PaperBanana provides AI-powered tools for creating publication-ready academic illustrations, diagrams, charts, prompts, previews, templates, and related research visuals.
The Service may include free features, paid credits, subscriptions, uploads, generation history, downloads, template browsing, and other account features.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your country, to use the Service.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your account.
You retain ownership of the prompts, images, references, and other content you upload, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to process that content through the Service.
You grant PaperBanana a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and store your uploaded and generated content solely as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the Service.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use generated academic illustrations and related outputs for personal or commercial purposes, unless your plan, checkout terms, or applicable law says otherwise.
AI-generated results may be imperfect, unexpected, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing or sharing them.

Because AI image generation involves immediate compute costs and digital delivery, used credits, successful generations, and active subscription periods are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine that a billing error or qualifying technical failure occurred.
The Service, website design, software, branding, templates, documentation, and related materials are owned by PaperBanana or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as allowed by law.
PaperBanana may rely on third-party providers for AI models, cloud infrastructure, storage, analytics, payments, email, and support. Your use of those features may also be subject to third-party terms and policies.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every location.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaperBanana will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost content, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
